Terminologies

To avoid confusion, here’s a brief glossary for the names that are used for the ear pads.

1688 = the ear pads are sourced from 1688.com (Chinese version of Alibaba)

1688 hybrid solid pads/hybrid pads = Earpads Experts Store ATH A900x Velvet Leather pads

Taobao = the Chinese online shopping platform

Aliexpress = the retail version of Alibaba

JZ = Jingzhi Ear Muff store (Aliexpress, Taobao, 1688)

PEPS = Professional Ear Pads Store (Aliexpress)

ECOS = Ear Covers Official Store (Aliexpress)

AHG Denon pads = Accessory House Denon pads = Aliexpress ‘LR printed letter’ pads

Aide cooling gel pads for Sennheiser HD6 series = Soulwit version of the same ear pad

Taobao/1688 Audio Technica ATH-AD/ADX series ear pads can be ordered here.

Cooling gel ear pads for Hifiman HE-series, Sundara etc. can be ordered here.

Naming system for ZMF pads – for example, AUHS stands for Autuer Hybrid Solid
